Middletown Middle going remote Dec. 7- 18

As you know, there has been an increase in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in our area. Beginning Monday, December 7 through Friday, December 18, students of the Middletown Middle School will move to a fully remote learning model. Students enrolled in the Virtual Learning Platform will continue learning as normal.

Como saben, ha habido un aumento en el número de casos confirmados de COVID-19 en nuestra área. A partir del Lunes 7 de Diciembre hasta el Viernes 18 de Diciembre, los estudiantes de Middletown Middle School pasarán a un modelo de aprendizaje totalmente remoto. Los estudiantes inscritos en la Plataforma de aprendizaje virtual continuarán aprendiendo con normalidad.

High School going remote Dec. 3 - Dec. 18

As you know, there has been a recent increase in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in our area. Starting tomorrow, December 3 through Friday, December 18, all MHS students (A-Z) will have classes in a fully remote learning setting. After the holiday break, we will return to our hybrid model (A-L Monday and Tuesday, M-Z Thursday and Friday). The first day back is January 5, 2021.

Journal-News: Butler County officials react to school voucher program changes

Middletown Schools Treasurer Randy Bertram described the expanded EdChoice as “a disservice to education.” The district’s obligation for vouchers would increase from 281 students to 586 students next year, he said. Many of those students never attended any Middletown public school.
