All MHS JV and Varsity football workouts and competitions will be cancelled for the remainder of the season

JV/Varsity Football Games Cancelled

We received notice that the test results of a Middletown High School football coach has been confirmed as positive by the City of Middletown Health Department. All MHS JV and Varsity football workouts and competitions will be cancelled so the health department can conduct contact tracing and the exposed facilities can be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. When making these decisions, we follow the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Return to Play guidelines and the Middletown Health Department guidelines.

Transition from Remote to Back to Classroom

Today, October 1, 2020, due to improving public health data, the Middletown Board of Education determined that our city has made significant improvements related to the mitigation of COVID-19. Thanks to this good news, Middletown City Schools will begin transitioning students back to in-person instruction beginning on Monday, October 19, 2020.
