Calling all students: Join Creative Writing Club! Come and share your voice and/or write your story.  The Creative Writing Club meets every Thursday in Mrs. Fugate's Room 275. So far, our club members have written about feminism, science-fiction, and fantasy across genres. This Thursday, we will be creating a t-shirt design for our club.  This November, we will be putting on a book fair for MHS, and, in December, we will hold our first MHS writing contest for all students! (Oct 25)

Middletown Kiwanis' 54th Annual Pancake Day is Nov. 3rd from 6:30 AM- 1:00 PM @ Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1300 First Ave., Middletown. Tickets are $6. See Ms. Thompson in room 272 or a Key Clubber to purchase one. (Nov 2)

The Trick or Treat for UNICEF Eliminate Project is a global campaign that will save or protect millions of mothers and newborns by eliminating maternal and neonatal tetanus. For just $1.80, you can pay for a vaccination that saves the lives of one woman and all her future children. Donate in your 1st period class now through Oct. 31. The class that raises the most, wins a special treat. (Oct 30)

Want to join the bowling team? Want to get some additional free practice before try-outs?  Oct  29th, 30th, & Nov. 1^st at Eastern Lanes from 3:30-5:00pm. Coaches will be on hand for assistance.  Conditioning is not mandatory or required for try-outs. (Nov 1)

Tennis open courts are Thursday (10/25) this week, not Wednesday, same time 3:15pm until 5:30pm. They will return to Wednesdays starting 10/31. (Oct 25)
