Key club will meet today and on Mondays after school in room 282. Come by and learn about community service and leadership opportunities offered through key club.
Homecoming guest forms are now available in the class office. All completed forms must be turned in by Wednesday, Sept 25th at 3pm.
MHS Cheerleaders & Dancers are selling wooden corsages and boutonnieres for Homecoming! Make sure you check them out & place your order during your lunch from now until September 27th
Attention sophomore class officers: There will be a meeting immediately after school tomorrow in Mrs. Minge's room. We will be discussing class shirts. Come with ideas.
The cast list is now posted for the fall play. Please stop by the Media Center or Mrs. Krynock's room to check it out. Also, please monitor your Schoology group for announcements and postings. Our first rehearsal is Wednesday after school on the stage.
Art Club will have their first meeting of the school year this Friday at 2:30 in Ms. Wandsnider's room (which is room 73 in the basement). See you there!
National Hispanic Heritage Month Announcements 2019
Monday, September 16
Yesterday was the start of Hispanic Heritage Month. Its celebration begins on September 15 because on that day five Spanish-speaking countries celebrate their Independence Day: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. In addition, Mexico celebrates its Independence today, September 16, and Chile on September 18. During the following four weeks, we will celebrate the long and important presence of Hispanics and Latinos in the United States.
