Congratulations to the Middie orchestra and show choir.  This past weekend, the Middie Orchestra and Show choir competed in Chicago against students from Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and Canada.  Students from these areas were performing at multiple sites throughout Chicago and scores from those sites were sent to the competition headquarters. After all scores from all sites were calculated, the  Middie Orchestra and Show Choir each received a Superior rating.  In addition, Orchestra took 1st place overall in String orchestra.  Show Choir placed 1st overall in the choral division, the combo placed 1st overall in student accompaniment and Leah Fugate was named overall Outstanding vocalist.

Students represented MHS with class, integrity and Middie Pride, earning compliments from our competition hosts, hotel staff and many others with whom our group met this weekend in Chicago.
