Hey Middie Seniors! Have you chosen to go to college and your Major will be Music Education or Musical Theatre? Then send your resume/bio sheet to Ms. Wilson in the Guidance Office. You will have the opportunity to win a scholarship.
The Rise Mentoring & After School program is having open gyms conducted by a dance instructor to help any interested students in learning the dance portion for the MHS Cheerleading tryouts next week. It is a come & go as you wish from 2:30- 4:00 and will be located in the cafeteria. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Daniels in the Rise offices located in the cafeteria or Ms. Wandsnider in room 73
Congratulations to the Middies Track team on a great showing at the Northwestern Invitational on Saturday. The boys finished 1st out of 12 teams and the girls finished 4th out of 14 teams. Placing for the Middies in the following events were:
Shot put - Leelah McGuire 3rd
Pole vault: Caroline Campbell 3rd
Long jump: DeeDee Richardson 3rd
High jump: Justin Norris 1st, DeShawn Lyons 3rd
110 meter hurdles - Terrecc Richardson 1st
100 meter dash - Quintin Tisdale 1st, Josh Bryant 2nd
800 meter relay - Deedee Richardson, Caroline Campbell, Maddie Fluharty, and Kyra Murphy 2nd, Terrecc Richardson, Quintin Tisdale, Daelon Moore-Simpson, and Cameron Junior 1st
