Seniors: Today is the day to receive help with your Middletown Community Foundation Scholarship! All day today, every class period, Mr. Joe and Ms. Turner will be in room 236 to assist you with your scholarship applications. Please get a pass from your teacher, preferably a study hall teacher, and come to room 236. No pass, no entry.
Seniors – Cap and Gown orders are due by February 14th.
Sophomores please check your emails for Butler Tech acceptance notifications as they must be accepted or declined by the end of this week or you will be removed from the list.
Esport tryouts are this week and next week. They will be held in the esport arena (130) after school. Each day a specific game will be examined, see Coach Stringer or find a flyer throughout the school for more information.
Next Open Fields for soccer will be today 3-430 on the turf.
Black History Month Fact: Garrett Morgan, Born in Kentucky in 1877, Morgan is the inventor of something many utilize every day, the traffic signal. He created this after witnessing so many accidents on busy urban intersections in 1923. Morgan acquired patents for his traffic signal a version of the modern three-way traffic light in the United States, Britain and Canada, but eventually sold the rights to General Electric for $40,000.
