Show choir auditions will be rescheduled for Monday Mar. 29th and 30th due to the full return of students after spring break.  This will better accommodate students and auditions.  Sign ups will be posted after spring break starting Mon. March 22nd outside the choir room.

Attention juniors! Class shirts are now on sale. We are offering both long and short sleeve tee shirts, crew neck sweat shirts and hoodies. These are Champion brand shirts. You can get an order form from Mrs Minge in room 112.  A picture of the design is on the TVs throughout the building

 

Picture day is coming! School pictures will be taken next week. A-L students will take pictures on Tuesday Virtual and Mid State students on Wednesday and M-Z students on Thursday. Any questions see Mrs. Lawson in room 232

Senior Yearbook Pictures are due this Friday.  Please submit to middletownyearbook@gmail.com.

 

Boys Volleyball Open Gyms this week on Wednesday and Thursday from 3 to 5 pm in the Arena. Tryouts and first practice begin Monday March 1st from 3-5 pm in the Arena. For more information on Boys Volleyball see Coach Butler in room 256


This is the last week to receive fine forgive from the Media Center.  Please return books on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9a-12p

 

The Rise After School Program has gone remote! If you are looking for opportunities for mentoring, volunteering, getting homework help, and making new friends, the Rise After School Program is for you! We operate Tuesday through Thursday 2:30 - 4:30. On Wednesdays we offer group mentoring, we have a good time while having conversations about real issues we see in our community and the world. The first meeting will be Tuesday, March 2nd at 2:45 over Zoom. Please see Mr. Will in the Rise office in the Cafeteria during lunch for more details!

 

Seven Middie Student Artists submitted work to the Tomorrow's Artist Today Exhibition at the Middletown Arts Center, and they have all had their work ACCEPTED and two students won honors! Congratulations to:

In 1908, after winning the 4 x 400 meter relay, John Taylor became the first African American to win gold in the Olympics. And in 1948, Alice Coachman became the first Black woman in the world to win an Olympic gold medal while competing in the high jump
