Lockdown Lifted: Amanda Elementary

This morning, at 11:30 AM, Amanda Elementary went on lockdown due to police activity in the neighborhood. The lockdown lasted approximately 10 minutes. This was out of precaution and provided our staff an opportunity to practice our safety procedures and protocols as an ongoing effort to keep our students and staff safe.
At this time, we have lifted the lockdown and Amanda Elementary school activity will continue as normal. As always, safety and security are of utmost importance and we thank our Middletown Police Department and School Resource Officers for keeping us safe every day.
