To Ms. Davis, #MiddieRising means “regardless of where you come from or the choices you've made or the experiences that you’ve had, that you always have that choice to rise above it and be a better person than you were yesterday--just like this reminder that life can be really tough, but so can you.”

Jennifer Jantausch, Central Academy

In her 23 years of teaching, Ms. Jantausch has spent every year with Middletown City Schools and Central Academy! The friendly environment is why she chose Middletown and why she's stayed with our district. This year, Ms. Jantausch says there is an energy flowing through our district that has not been here before and it's starting to catch in the community!

"I hope the students in my care--really any students here at our building--leave knowing that they are loved, they are valuable, they have a voice, they are capable of anything, and that they are my reason and they are my why."
