Middie XL takes the place of a traditional, written Quality Profile document. Instead, a district-wide symposium brings the Middletown district to life.
In 2020, we rolled out the purple carpet for another exciting evening of engagement, innovation, and Middie Magic. Community members watched 10 films produced by each school and then went into the modernized High School and new Middle School to experience the living Quality Profile where every school building showcased innovative programs and clubs.

#MiddieRising: The Movie
Middie XL: 2019
The Middie XL: eXcellence Live launched in January 2019. We kicked off the evening with the reveal of the #MiddieRising Movie, starring Middletown High School senior Madalyn Thomas.
We did away with the written Quality Profile and showed not only can we talk the talk, but we can walk the walk. After the movie experience, 2,500+ community members went into the modernized High School and brand new Middle School to experience our LIVING Quality Profile where each school showcased innovative programs and clubs.
